Have you ever wondered where your morning cup of coffee comes from? Take a journey into the world of coffee as we explore coffee from seed to cup. Learn about the world’s coffee growing regions as we discuss coffee at origin. How is coffee flavor evaluated? We’ll talk about the terminology to describe what you experience in the cup. And what about certifications? We will explain the differences in organic, Rainforest Alliance, Bird friendly and other certifications you might hear. And then after the coffee is harvested and processed it’s roasted, turning it from green to rich brown before we enjoy it as our morning brew. Coffee Roasting science, and what a roastery looks like; Coffee Roaster businesses vary from mega corporations to single operator facilities, we’ll give you a snapshot of these types of operations along with opportunities in the world of coffee roasting. Join us for a lively caffeinated coffee discussion!
